Under the management of our expert and experienced staff, we have an integrated value chain that starts by sourcing the best hazelnuts from farmers and traders, processing them through our patented, high-tech factories with an annual processing capacity of 300,000 tons, and completing the processes of crushing, roasting, chopping, grinding, and packaging before delivering them to the buyer.
With 1,300,900% of its revenue coming from exports since its establishment, and maintaining its documented success in hazelnut exports, we are one of Türkiye's largest food exporters, ranking among Turkey's export champions since the 1980s.
At Balsu, we are proud to have been meeting the hazelnut product needs of the world's largest and most prestigious food companies for over 46 years. Furthermore, with our sales offices in the USA, Germany, Hong Kong, and Istanbul, we continue to conduct both raw and processed hazelnut trade effectively and successfully on a global scale, positioning ourselves as one of the leading and pioneering organizations in the world hazelnut sector.
At Balsu, we are not content with the size and strength we have achieved in the hazelnut sector; we are accelerating our new and effective investments with the aim of adding strength and value to our power.
In addition to being an active participant in the European hazelnut markets since 1979 and in the European, Asian, and North American hazelnut markets since 1993, we are working intensively to further increase Balsu's global market share, especially in the Americas and Asia-Pacific countries, with our hazelnut orchards in Chile, South America, which we started in 2017 and which have completed their 4th harvest, and our hazelnut processing factory investments that will soon become operational.
Furthermore, with the investments we have made since 2024, our Hendex Activated Carbon factory, whose construction and all machinery have been completed and which is equipped with patented high technologies, will be producing activated carbon from hazelnut shells and offering a significant product needed by many sectors in Türkiye and around the world.
With the aim and enthusiasm to always provide the best to all our investors who joined us in our Initial Public Offering process in 2025, which was met with great demand, we continue our efforts to add value and strength to Balsu, a world-renowned hazelnut company, and we are resolutely continuing our journey to become the global leader of the world hazelnut industry.

This principle encompasses the entire process, from sourcing hazelnuts from farmers and traders, to processing and packaging them in our high-tech factories, and finally delivering them to the buyer.
Our experience, knowledge, and expertise in the hazelnut industry, combined with our understanding that 'quality is not controlled, it is produced,' have guaranteed the long-standing stability of our quality standards. Our 'Quality Assurance and Food Safety Management Program,' meticulously implemented by our quality department, guarantees compliance with, and even exceeding, international certification standards in terms of quality.
Supply Chain management
At Balsu, we bridge the significant gap between the global industry and hazelnut orchards, maintaining a unique and original supply operation. Under the control of our agricultural and trade-oriented staff, our supply operation, which includes selecting the best hazelnuts, sorting them into the correct categories, and transporting them to our factories via our logistics centers, is managed through a large supplier network of over 200 farmers and traders.
